2026 Summer Enrichment Program
TRIO Upward Bound hosts a five-week academic enrichment summer program at The University of New Mexico-电车痴汉 campus. Students participate in fun and interactive academic classes to prepare them for the upcoming school year; additionally, students attend cultural/educational enrichment field trips on Fridays. All student travel expenses (transportation, lodging, meals, and admission tickets) are covered by Upward Bound.
Lunch is provided daily and free summer supplies for classes and field trips will be provided to all summer students. At the end of the summer enrichment program, students will travel and explore an out-of-state college/university and take part in cultural enrichment activities around the designated city.
Program Eligibility:
- Enrolled at 电车痴汉 High School, Tohatchi High School or Miyamura High School.
- Rising 9th grade to rising 12th grade.
- First-generation to college: meaning neither parent/guardian has received a four-year bachelor's degree.
and/or - Income Eligible based on family household size & taxable income.

Program Dates:
Week 1: June 12 Student Orientation from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. & Parent Orientation at 5:30 p.m.
Week 2: June 15-18 (Closed June 19)
Week 3: June 22-26 (Field trip June 26)
Week 4: June 29 - July 3 (half day on 7/3)
Week 5: July 6-10 (College Campus Road Trip)
Week 6: July 13-16 (Student Showcase)
Daily Schedule:
Monday-Thursday
9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Breakfast & lunch provided for all summer TRIO Upward Bound participants.
College Campus Trip: July 9-12
Parent Travel Meeting: July 3 at 5:30 p.m.
